Find Food
  1. Locate

Find your local distribution centre and check out their details. Find out their address, the day and times they distribute.

  2. Contact

Contact the church, confirm the day and time that you can pick up a food hamper, and tell them you will be coming that week. This way they can make sure they have a hamper for you.

  3. Arrive

Turn up to the church on the day and at the time listed. Someone from the church will be there to greet you and show you how their system works. Some churches will have a chance to sit around and chat or you can head on your way.

  4. Enjoy

Enjoy your hamper of fresh fruit and vegetables and keep the church in mind if you need any support in future weeks, they will always be happy to help you out.

The price of living is too high, and Hands & Feet is here for us every week. I wasn’t in a very good place before Hands & Feet. The food was the beginning of me changing my entire life.

With the rising cost of living, medical costs, school fees, etc, we would have lost the roof over our heads if we weren’t so lucky as to gain access to this free food. We are so incredibly grateful to receive these and it's helped us out so so so much. So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you to the team, because without you and all that you do, I can't imagine where my family and I might be. Life is hard, thank you for making it bearable. Hands & Feet are quite literally saving us and people like us.

Thank you so much for all the wonderful food my family has received over the last year. I can't express in words how much help it has been to us. We have been struggling financially since 2022 when my husband had to reduce his working hours due to illness. With increased rent and the prices of everything rising, it has become really difficult. I dreaded going grocery shopping because on our tight budget, it was impossible to get enough food for a family of 5. That's when a friend told me that there is food assistance for people who can't afford to buy food.
The very first time I came home with several bags of wonderful fresh food from you, my girls were so happy! Teenagers grow fast and they seem to be constantly hungry, so after so long, they could eat fresh fruit. Since then, I have received assistance almost every week, and it is such a relief to know that no matter what, my kids always have access to fresh, healthy food. The variety is great, and there are always some things that would otherwise be completely out of budget for us. I am very grateful for all the food we have received. And when I come to the church, I always feel very welcome. Everyone is so friendly and kind. It has given us much more than just food. It has given us hope and a feeling of security, knowing that we can always get help.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude as a survivor of domestic violence. Your support with groceries has been incredibly meaningful, especially during this challenging time of financial strain. Facing high costs for essentials like food, petrol, rent, and legal proceedings has been overwhelming, and your assistance has truly made a difference. As a survivor, the journey has been exceptionally tough, but your kindness has been a beacon of hope. Thank you, for not only filling the gap but also providing essential support for myself and my children.

I used to have to work 3 jobs to support my family and I would never get to see my wife or kids, life was very hard. Now that I get this weekly food it is a great help to my family and I am so thankful to this community for this food. This has meant that I have been able to drop one job and spend some time with my family.

We never used to have enough food, we were pretty much starving, these amazing people changed our lives, we can actually start eating again. They provide a tremendous service and I am so thankful for the service they provide to our community.
